On August 27, Hocking, Athens, and Perry County Community Action hosted a free produce drive at the Hocking County Fairgrounds. The produce was supplied by Southeastern Ohio Regional Food Center through local producers and farmers. The event was a huge success and supplied many families with access to a wide variety of fresh fruits and vegetables! To the left is an illustration of what each family received. Southeastern Ohio Regional Food Center hosts multiple produce give-aways to low income families across Southeastern Ohio every summer and fall.
