Adams County may not be Southeast Ohio...

...but the Adams County Shelter for the Homeless held an Open House at their new location and because I had worked with them, I attended. I had worked with them, along with the Adams/Brown Economic Opportunities Center to host an informational luncheon about The Ohio Benefit Bank and The Health Path Foundation of Ohio. They had a great turn out with local government officials and other local community members. The following are some pictures of their new home.

Bob Boldman showing Jessica May, Gayle Loyola, and myself one of the new bedrooms. There are three bunkbeds and an entrance for a personal bathroom.
This is Homer. He was, to put it nicely, dropped off at the shelter just days before the open house. He was adopted by the shelter & loves just lying around and soaking up love from staff and clients!
These are some outside shots of the main building (where the staff offices, kitchen, dining room, and laundry room are) and the housing building (where the rooms and bathrooms are).
